Overview
Geet Hui Sabse Parayi is an Indian action-drama television series, that premiered on 29 March 2020 on Disney+ in India. The story centres on an elite squad of female Indian Army soldiers led by Arushka who investigate cases involving women. The show premiered in June 2020 on Disney channel in United States.
The first season of Geet Hui Sabse Parayi follows four central characters: Geeteshwari (Farah Fazal), a South Indian National Cadet Corps (SINCG) girl and member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Forces, Arushka (Pooja Gor), a West Bengal Forest Cadet (WBF), Ashi (Lily) a member of the Delhi Police, and Ishita (Taapsee Pannu), a senior IAS officer. Geet Hui Sabse Parayi is a show created by Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar in which they had never worked before. Ekta Kapoor had announced the series in October 2019, while Karan Johar had confirmed in April 2020.
Plot
The story revolves around a four-member team of female cadets and a senior-ranking IAS officer named Ishita. Their jobs are to solve cases involving women. They are led by an Army officer named Arushka whose background is the only one of the team that is completely military. The team is then aided by two separate teams, both headed by members of the Delhi Police named Ashi and Ashi, respectively. The team consists of four main characters: Geeteshwari (Farah Fazal), who belongs to a NCC (National Cadet Corps) family in Chennai; Arushka (Pooja Gor), a West Bengal cadet (WBF) from Kolkata, Ashi, a seasoned Delhi Police officer; and Ishita, an IAS officer who was initially seen to be in a relationship with Ashi.
